Teen Ministry
The goal of Teen Ministry is to have godly youth who desire to serve God. They desire to fully understand their own personal salvation and grow in Biblical knowledge and wisdom. A solid foundation is crucial during this transitional time. Teens are encouraged to participate in summer camp, youth conferences, and monthly activities. This ministry meets during Sunday School and on Wednesday nights.
Awana (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed)
This Wednesday night program is for children ages 2 to 12. Classes are divided into respective age groups. The focus of this program is evangelism and discipleship through Bible memory and lessons. Awana meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. during the school year.
Music
The purpose of the music program at Temple Baptist Church is to worship the Lord with Biblical-based vocal and instrumental music. There are several opportunities for participation within the music ministry, including adult choir, small ensembles, orchestra, and children’s choir.
Senior Saints
Some of our most active servants are empty nesters. Our senior saints are involved in most of our behind-the-scenes service projects. This vibrant group of servants meets on the third Saturday of every month for a time of food, fun, and fellowship.
